River Stones

This piece has a story. When I was a girl, my family would drive down a country road on a Sunday afternoon and we would take out our picnic lunch. Under the bridge we would sit down and look at each river stone.. What fascination, and when we looked up we saw the mechanics of the bridge. It would go up and down and the gears would turn. Years later this painting would come from the recesses of my mind.
